Privacy Policy

Simplest Tax Relief Tracker is a personal utility that stores your tax relief entries in a private, account-scoped cloud space. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't track you across the web.

We collect only what the app needs to work:

• Your email address — when you sign in with Google or Apple. Used to identify your account.
• Your display name — an optional short name you enter to personalize the greeting.
• Your entries — the amounts, categories, dates, descriptions, and receipt photos you choose to log.
• Your subscription status — whether you have premium access, tracked through Apple's or Google's payment system.

We do not collect device identifiers for advertising, location data, contacts, browsing history, or anything else the app doesn't need.

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore for entries, Cloud Storage for receipt images), hosted in the Singapore region (asia-southeast1). Transmission is encrypted over HTTPS/TLS. Security rules enforce per-user isolation — only you, signed in with your account, can read or write your own data.

• We don't sell, rent, or share your data.
• We don't use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs.
• We don't read your receipts or entries. Firebase security rules prevent even us from accessing your data.
• We don't use your data to train AI models.

The app uses a small set of services to function:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and file storage
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing

These providers handle data according to their own privacy policies. We share only what's strictly needed to deliver the service.

• Delete individual entries at any time from inside the app.
• Delete your entire account from inside the app via Settings → Delete Account, or visit our account deletion page for full details. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
• Cancel your subscription through the App Store or Play Store at any time.

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you through the app.
